Mardi Gras

For those of you who do not know:
Mardi Gras is the the french translation of the words Fat Tuesday(or so I heard).
Fat Tuesday is named so because, Ash Wednesday (Lent), the day before, would have been the last day for religious Christian followers to gorge themselves before giving up fattening foods.

" Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a season
of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ's Resurrectionon Easter Sunday, through which we attain redemption."

Blah, Blah, Blah.......The Purpose of this Blog is so that I could take advantage of the facinating command; drop quote.

I just dont understand why everthing else is being pushed into this drop quote formatting. Oh well, Lent sounds like really boring and awful, but I'll celebrate Mardi Gras anytime!!!!

P.S. This link sucks It is the worst I could find (page like 15 in results)

Saturday Night (well...technically Sunday)

Am I boring? Apparently so.
It is midnight on a Saturday after a long week of work (and school) and I have been in my pajamas since the bath I took at 9. Then I took a nap, and then I had a beer. I don't believe I even finished it. Maybe later I'll go to Meijers. When did I become so lame?
Here is one of my favorite websites to go to at work when I am super bored and in the mood to laugh at people..........................
..... I am so ashamed.

Day 2 The last Thursday of the Week-

Recently there has been a strange turn of events in this city of glass. One that has left me speechless and confused. A glorious ball of orange has appeared outside my window for two mornings this week. At first it startled me, and I cowered under my covers, protecting my sleepy eyes from its blinding beams. After thoughtful consideration came vague recollection. I relaxed, rose from my cocoon of cotton and feathers, staggered to the window, still sheilding, to welcome the forgotten star. Back from its long hibernation. Behold.....................THE SUN.
